Whether you’re new to a city, entering a new life stage, or simply looking to expand your social circle, Doubles Social is the first-ever, private digital members community and app that connects you and your partner with other vetted, like-minded couples, schedules double dates, and plans elevated events. Doubles Social makes it simple and exciting to meet, connect with, and platonically double date other driven, sophisticated and fun couples with similar interests.

Founder Jourdann Lubliner is an avid tennis player, so the app’s design and tone of voice is tennis-inspired, but Doubles Social is not built solely for tennis players to connect with potential court partners. However, couples can certainly connect over their shared interest in racquet sports!

No, Doubles Social is intended for platonic socializing and networking, as well as discovering shared interests so couples can explore their cities and enjoy activities they love with other couples.

Not at this time. Doubles is a first-of-its-kind community specifically for couples - those that are dating each other, in a relationship, engaged or married. The profiles are designed to feature two people per profile.

It is available in the US. Events will first roll out in NYC and expand to key US cities based on member demand.

Driven, kind, intelligent, multifaceted and motivated couples who are passionate about the things they care about, whether it’s their career, family, interests, fitness, etc. They are excited about meeting other people, exploring different places, and enjoying new experiences. Doubles does not discriminate based on race, sexual orientation, or gender. Doubles seeks members who are genuinely excited to build connections with other couples, use the app’s features, go on double dates, attend Doubles events and engage with other members of the community.

Apply: Create an account, answer quick questions about you and your partner, upload a profile picture of you both together, and invite your partner to join your account. Both you and your partner will have access to the same account once your partner accepts your SMS invite. You can log in separately on different devices.

Get notified: Sign up for notifications so you’re aware the moment you’re off the waitlist. 

Fill out your joint profile: If you are accepted, you will be prompted to subscribe and then fill out the rest of your profile: you’ll highlight what makes you a great team, why you joined Doubles, your top interests, and more. You’ll answer fun prompts to reveal interesting facts about both of you and take or upload photos that showcase your personalities.

We are committed to carefully curating our community of couples. You’ll hear from us if you get accepted - turn on notifications for the fastest experience. If you are referred by an existing member through the app, you will move up the waitlist. Good luck!

You can cancel the double date by accessing your Schedule via the Calendar icon in the nav bar, tapping on the double date in your Schedule, and then pressing Edit Response. To encourage respect between members, please note that canceling and no shows are highly discouraged. View our Cancellation Policy for more details.

It will expire. You will still have a record of your inbound and outbound Double Date Requests in the Upcoming, Received, Sent and Past sections of your Schedule.

While the double date won’t be canceled, confirming helps prevent no shows. Kindly confirm when prompted.

We encourage both partners to download the app and log into their account so we can better ensure consent is granted for the content shared on the app. Each partner has access to the same shared account once it’s set up. Login with your own phone numbers.

Use your joint profile to browse and like couples nearby via the daily batches. Once there’s a mutual interest and you match, you can Group Chat directly in the app and send Double Date Requests.

From dinner and drinks to tennis matches and distillery tours — Doubles inspires you with over 30 double date ideas when you select Type of Double Date in the Double Date Request.

Each couple is responsible for covering their own tab unless you agree otherwise. Doubles helps you meet up — what happens on the date is up to you!

Our current fees are $16 / 1 month, $38 / 3 months, $63 / 6 months and $96 / 1 year. You can enjoy discounts when booking longer-term memberships! The price is per couple and is billed to 1 person in the couple, so it’s really $8 per person per month and so on.

You and your partner must be over 18 to apply.

Yes — we only show your profile to other couples on the platform. Your privacy is a top priority.

If your account is on pause, you will not be able to view your daily batch of new couples, and your profile will not be shown to couples. You can still chat with existing matches and send & receive Double Date Requests. Your Doubles membership will still be active.

You can pause your profile at any time in your account settings. Your matches, messages and schedule will be saved if you decide to return.

We get it — things happen. If you break up, it’s best to delete your account as profiles are based on the couple together, not the two individuals separately. If you want to rejoin with a new partner, you can reapply and will receive expedited application review and prioritization in the waitlist. If one person wants to leave the account but is not a paying partner, the paying partner will receive a push notification and/or email notifying them of the deletion request. If the paying partner approves, the account will be deleted. If the paying partner does not approve, you will need to delete the account. When you rejoin, you will not need to wait on the waitlist unless Doubles isn’t available in your city yet.

We don’t permit age changes to birthdays after onboarding due to potential catfishing. If you made an error, email us at hello@doubles.social.

Click on their profile in the Matches or Messages sections or when browsing, tap the three dots in the top right corner of their full profile and choose "Report Profile” or “Block Profile.” We take all reports seriously, so please only report or block couples if truly necessary.
